Four "fellows" with the same love
for music. Their unique sound mixes the genres of rock, folk,
funk, jazz, and pop. You are invited to explore and experience
Longfellow
The group is comprised of four members: Dan
Huber (bass), Shaun Schuetz (vibes), Geoff Goodhue (set),
and Nick Long (guitar and vocals). With the vibes thrown into
the mix, a different sound was unveiled to the Athens music
scene. Longfellow's first official public appearance was at
a local microbrewery called O'Hooley's on Friday, October
18th 2001. The following evening they played an open stage
at a local coffee house. First responses to the new sound
were positive. Comprised of a mixture of different styles
and genres, including rock, folk, funk, jazz, and pop, Longfellow
continues their sense of comradery and love for sharing their
music with others.
