Alex Vaughn & The Big Idea	Alex Vaughn & The Big Idea has played many live shows in and out of Athens, Ohio for the last two years. The Big Idea has shared the stage with many national acts including: Badfish (twice), Mike Perkins (3 times), Lovesick Radio, Brian Ernst, Oval Opus, Longfellow, Split Tone, and Jesty Beatz. ,,Recently finishing his North Florida tour, Alex Vaughn has brought a practiced band of skilled musicians back to Athens for their last year at the university. The Big Idea holds a sponsorship with Bud-Light Distributing and is well known for bringing steady crowds to each and every show. Appalachian Death Ride	Lovingly know as ADR by the locals. Loud "thank god I'm a man" rock. Garage rock that bends toward the country-rock spectrum. Definitely some Lynard Skynard overtones, without all the red-necked-ness. Tons of power chords and great drumming. This is the closest thing they have to a web site. Arthur Killroad	Arthur Killroad is an acoustic artist who plays at local open mics all around Athens. His real name is Mike Petruccelli but goes by the alias Arthur Killroad due to his real last name being very Italian and hard to pronounce. His music is serious and covers the topics of drug use, relationships, politics, and overall apathy. Athens Dixieland Jazz Band	ADJB plays Trad jazz and Dixieland featuring a standard Dixieland line-up of clarinet, cornet, trombone, keyboard, drums, and bass plus a washboardista and vocalist. Sponsored by the High Society Jazz Association and plays monthly at HSJ sessions as well as for weddings, wakes, fancy balls and riverboat cruises.
