Well, there has been a whole lot happening with in the RD World! Where do I start?

We just finished up our first video for the song ’Crash’ off our upcoming album titled ’Straight Jacket Memories’. It was recorded at The Hanby House at Otterbien College in Westerville by Claire who is a film student. I will save the details of the film for the premier but just a hint... watch for the missing band member who mysteriously appears and disappears! 

Our Video Premier for ’Crash’ will be held Saturday, April 19th @ Carabar, Columbus, OH with Woosley, Hollywood Cowboy & TV Eye.

We have finally picked a time for having the new album finished, mastered and ready to go: June 2008. Not sure if it will be released by then by it will be done. Mastered and ready to go. Finally!

We have also be doing a lot of writing outside the box as of late. We have written a few new songs a little different for Red Dahlia. Not that we have exactly stuck to a certin formula but these are really different! One is a punk rock song with a samba rhythm, over the top vocals, solos and a killer groove! Another was written by Kenny and I am pretty sure he was listening to a lot of The Police, Missing Persons and Journey during this time. We have a couple others we will also be drgging out as well. At this point, we will have a whole 3rd album before ’Straight Jackets’ is released.

Matt Toledo has taken the role as bassist for We March (Athens, OH punk band). While we don’t play a lot of shows with them, they have been pretty good friends of our over the years and they’re a kickass band!

Felixx has been recording with ’A Band’ in L.A. and ’A Band’ is currently writing songs with the aid of Nikki Sixx of Motely Crue.

Kenny Smith has a full time girlfriend that we actually like!

We also have a few out of town shows in April in PA and we’re planning a short tour for July to include TN, KY, WV, IN & of course OH.
